Gerald Haan – Owner
Gerald works directly with all ongoing development and consulting projects. After studying economics at the University of Tennessee, Gerald went to work in the commercial real estate and development field, which eventually led him into securities and financial markets. Through the various city boards and commissions that he has served on, Gerald has gained valuable experience in the inner workings of municipal governance. In addition, Gerald has developed thorough construction knowledge through his association with a regional lumber company and his strong partnerships with construction firms. Gerald has been involved with multi-family and senior development, specializing in the use of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and agency backed financing. Furthermore, Haan has been active in national brand hotel development, assisted care facilities, and other commercial enterprises.
Lacy Tippett – Financial Manager
Lacy is responsible for all accounting functions for the company and provides support service for the application, financing, and development phases of company projects. She manages construction draw funding paperwork, loan application, due diligence, and oversees the NLR accounting team. Lacy holds a degree in Accounting and is a Certified Credit Compliance Professional.
Benjamin Ide – Director of Development
Ben is responsible for new project development and oversight of the development team. He researches potential opportunities for feasibility and builds the financial plans to warrant a successful project. Prior to joining the company, Ben served as a Housing Development Officer for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. Ben holds a degree in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and is a certified Housing Development Finance Professional.
Justin Francis – Development Coordinator
Justin’s focus is on Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects in the Western United States. He builds relationships with local non-profits and state finance agencies, models feasibility, applies for tax credits, and monitors construction. Prior to joining the company, Justin served as the Housing Development and Asset Manager for the City of Phoenix, AZ. Justin holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Humboldt State University. He is also a Housing Certified Credit Professional, a Certified Public Housing Manager, and he holds California General Contractor and Real Estate Brokers Licenses.
Erin Davison – Accounting
Erin works closely with on-site managers and is responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as assists in the budgeting activities for the properties in our NLR portfolio. She is currently working towards a degree in accounting through North Central Michigan College.
Kim Kaminski – Administrative Assistant
Kim provides support to executive staff and ensures day-to-day office functions run effectively. Kim holds a degree in Business Administration from Davenport University and has over ten years experience serving in this capacity.
Rosalinda Moehn – Asset Director
Rosalinda Moehn, CPM® Rosalinda Moehn is the Asset Director for NLR Management/G. A Haan Development. Positions held previously include Regional Vice President for the ConAm Group, Sr. Regional Manager for Milestone Management, Director of Property Management for a multifamily company which provided tax credit, conventional and senior housing. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker for NLR Management USA, LLC. and received her CPM® designation in 2007. She received the CPM® of the Year Award in 2015. She will serve as President-Elect in 2019 for the IREM Phoenix Chapter.
Geneva brings a wealth of property management and account experience to NLR, prior to joining NLR Management, Geneva was a Community Director for large property management firm in Phoenix, AZ. Her duties include creating financial reports, posting in accounting journals, and payment to vendors in our OneSite accounting software. Geneva works closely with on-site managers and is responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as assists in the budgeting activities for the properties in our NLR portfolio. Geneva also provides support to executive staff and ensures day-today office functions run effectively. Received the CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) Certification through the National Apartment Association in 2007.
Caroline Nelson – Development Coordinator
Caroline Nelson serves as a Development Coordinator for G.A. Haan, where she identifies potential development opportunities, assesses project feasibility, prepares funding applications, and steers developments from construction through completion. Previously, Caroline worked for Heritage Housing Partners, a Los Angeles based homeownership developer. She holds a Masters in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.
Kory Drent – Development Coordinator
With more than 15 years of experience in tax, accounting, and business advisory services, he strives to improve the financial and business success of the company. As a graduate of Arizona State University, he continued his education by obtaining his MBA in 2014. In addition to Kory’s invaluable accounting management experience, he brings a strong background in computer technology and tax. Outside of work, Kory commits his time to his family and continuing his professional education.
